Y3+4 Girls Football Festival

Dear Colleagues,

Thank you for bringing your students to the Football Festival held at St Paul's. It was wonderful to see so many girls taking part with enthusiasm, determination, and excellent teamwork throughout the event.

A special thank you to St Paul's for hosting the festival and to the fantastic sports leaders who supported the day. Their organisation, encouragement, and leadership helped ensure the event ran smoothly and provided a positive experience for all involved.

We hope the girls enjoyed the opportunity to develop their football skills, build confidence, and work together with their peers. These experiences reflect the values and ethos of the School Games, promoting teamwork, respect, determination, and a lifelong enjoyment of being active.

Y5+6 Girls Football Festival

Dear Colleagues,

Thank you for bringing your girls along to the Year 5 & 6 Girls' Football Festival at St Paul's Girls' School today.

It was a pleasure to see so many girls enjoying football in such a positive and supportive environment. Throughout the festival, the girls demonstrated excellent teamwork, resilience and confidence, whilst also showing great sportsmanship and respect towards one another. It was wonderful to see them encouraging their teammates, challenging themselves and embracing the spirit of the game.

A special thank you to Emma for hosting the event and to the young leaders, who did a fantastic job supporting the teams and refereeing the matches. Their enthusiasm, organisation and commitment helped make the festival such a success.

Please find attached Certificates of Participation. We would be grateful if you could print and present these to the girls who attended the festival as recognition of their fantastic effort, attitude and participation throughout the day.

Thank you once again for your continued support of girls' football and for providing these valuable opportunities for your pupils.

Indoor Cricket Festival - Tuesday 6 October 2026

Dear Colleagues,

A huge thank you to everyone who brought their students along to our Indoor Cricket Festival today.

It was a lovely morning, and it was fantastic to see the students getting involved, learning some fundamental cricket skills and, most importantly, working together outside of their usual friendship groups. They demonstrated some fantastic School Games values throughout the morning, including teamwork, respect, determination, honesty, passion and self-belief.

A special thank you to ACE Tyrese for leading the session. The session was engaging, energetic and fun, and it was clear that the students really enjoyed themselves and got a lot from the experience.

Thank you also to the King Edward VI Handsworth Wood leaders for being so supportive throughout the morning. Your help and encouragement made a real difference. A big thank you to Pindy as well for allowing us to use the space and helping make the event possible.

Thank you all for your continued support of School Games. It was brilliant to see so many students enjoying themselves, developing their skills and demonstrating such positive sporting behaviours.

We look forward to seeing you all again at our next School Games festival/event!
